Marking Time: ArtsEkta at 20
Marking Time: Artsekta at 20 is a special exhibition celebrating twenty years of creativity, connection and cultural change in Northern Ireland.
Through photography, personal reflections and stories from across two decades, the exhibition explores Artsekta’s journey from its beginnings in a post-conflict society to its role today in creating spaces where people from different backgrounds can meet, share experiences and build a sense of belonging.
Featuring key milestones including One World Day, Belfast Mela, artist collaborations and large-scale public spectacles, Marking Time reflects on the people, projects and ideas that have shaped Artsekta’s story.
At its heart is a simple belief: when people come together, they have the power to change a city, a community and each other.
