Polish Folk initiative started in February 2024 in Belfast. Idea sparkled between two friends with a passion for singing and dancing. One mostly singer other mostly dancer, they both carried deep Polish traditions and get to perform on events and festivals across Northern Ireland although always individually. Therefore, they noticed the need for Polish traditional group. That’s how it started and since then we multiplied to 15 members, and it’s not just women, we managed to tangled few men along. We chose to sing Polish folk songs, which we either remember from childhood and older generations or we learn the ones we never heard before. We rehearse every week and share our passion and enthusiasm wherever we welcomed to perform.
