Upcycled Warli Vase Workshop

Join us for a creative and eco-conscious workshop where you’ll transform a simple glass jar or bottle into a stunning decorative vase inspired by Warli art — a traditional Indian tribal art form known for its elegant white motifs and storytelling style.

This hands-on session is perfect for adults and creative teens looking to explore a unique artistic tradition while embracing sustainability through upcycling.

What You’ll Do:

  • Learn about the origins and symbolism of Warli art, practiced by the Warli tribe of Maharashtra, India

  • Discover the meaning behind the intricate stick figures, scenes of village life, animals, and nature

  • Upcycle a clean glass jar or bottle (provided or bring your own) into a beautiful hand-painted vase

  • Use simple, natural tones and traditional white paint to create your own Warli-inspired designs

  • Enjoy a mindful, relaxing creative experience guided by experienced facilitators

This workshop combines culture, creativity, and conscious making – no prior art skills needed! All materials provided, including glass jars, paints, brushes, and reference designs.  Suitable for adults and young people aged 12+
