DarMisk Grill brings the rich flavours of the Middle East to Belfast, specialising in authentic Syrian, Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine cooked over a traditional charcoal grill. Known for its warm hospitality and generous portions, the restaurant has quickly built a loyal following for dishes including chicken and lamb shawarma, mixed grills, hummus, falafel and its much-talked-about crispy "Broasted" chicken. Combining fresh ingredients with traditional recipes, DarMisk offers a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience that celebrates authentic Arabic food at excellent value.

Stereo is a stylish independent café on Belfast's Cregagh Road, renowned for its speciality coffee, creative brunch menu and welcoming neighbourhood atmosphere. Inspired by the golden age of analogue music, the café combines carefully crafted food with a relaxed, contemporary setting. At Belfast Mela, Megan will showcase Stereo's fresh, seasonal approach to cooking, demonstrating simple, flavour-packed dishes inspired by the café's innovative brunch menu.

Gerard's culinary journey began at the age of 18 as a kitchen porter, where he quickly discovered a passion for cooking. Without formal training, he learned his craft through hands-on experience, working his way up through professional kitchens with determination and talent. He has led his own kitchens and was part of the acclaimed team at James St South Bar & Grill, where the restaurant was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand while he held the position of Sous Chef. Driven by a love of food and travel, Gerard has explored cuisines from around the world, including spending a year living and cooking in New Zealand. Today, he is part of the General Merchants Café Group, where he continues to create fresh, flavour-led dishes inspired by his experiences and passion for great food.

Nomad17 is a contemporary Tunisian Café in Belfast's Boucher Road area, serving high-quality speciality coffee, fresh brunch dishes, homemade bakes and light lunches in a modern, welcoming setting. Mo is a traditionally training Tunisian chef who puts an  emphasis on fresh ingredients, excellent customer service and a relaxed atmosphere, it's become a popular spot for everything from morning coffee meetings to casual lunches. The café offers a stylish space where great food, artisan coffee and community come together.
